Non Jewelry Related – This One’s Just for Fun: Pooping Behind the Door

This is a totally inappropriate post and totally unrelated to the point of this blog, But I laughed out loud when I read this email and thought I’d share it. I hope it brightens your day a bit too

Background: My 2 1/2 year old son Eddie and “I’m Making Jewelry in my Jam Jams Newsletter” subscriber Linda’s brother Eddie share their first name.

Linda writes:

Good God Christine! Catch that boy!!! If he’s like the Eddie I know and love, he’ll be behind a door pooping every time he’s naked. Oh the memory just tickles me to no end. He’s 7 years younger than me. He slept in my room. I remember him waking up because he wanted his “buddy” (pacifier). I would have to get out of bed, pick it up from the floor and pat his bottom

till he fell asleep. All night long he would throw his buddy on the floor and all night I would have to go through the same scenario.

His wife says he still likes his bottom pat. Hahahah. He’s 6′3, looks like a Caucasian Montel Williams. He has arthritis very badly. He can’t raise his arms above his waist. He can’t fully open his mouth. He’s had both hips replaced and all his toes broken and reset with pins. But with all that… he has THE BEST attitude of anyone I know. He gives so much to the community. I think he has delegated himself as the mediator of our family. Don’t know why, but he’s good at it.

There I go again, blabbering to strangers. Anyway, I hope your little guy grows up to be 1/2

the man my baby brother is. You’ll have raised an awesome man, that still will love you and call everyday. Sometimes several times a day. Sometimes till you want to take the phone off the hook. (He calls the folks and pretends to be someone… anyone. He gets my dad every time).

Christine, I’ll let you go. Sorry. Just the memory of Eddie behind the door got to me. I’ll have to call him tomorrow and remind him. Its been a while since the last time. Thank you!!! I hope your week is going great. We are having RAIN!!!!!!! Nothing but rain.
